Google Ads is rolling out a new system of managing policy violations in September of 2021. The new system will use a three-strike system of escalating penalties to force advertisers to adhere to Google policies. Strikes expire after 90 days.
While the new policies should make it clear to advertisers when they violate Google policies, there is a concern that the systems used to detect violations and appeal the strikes may not be sophisticated enough and issue strikes when not warranted.
